Lo Lai Lai Natalie was born in Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Art (Fine Arts) and Master of Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. Lai Lai is a former travel journalist. She finds her interests in food, farming, fermentation, surveillance, and meditation. She has a farming practice, using photography, video and installation as a means to interact with nature. Her artworks are part of collector Dr Uli Sigg's private collection and the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. 

Lai Lai presented her solo exhibition Blue Throat: A Profound Disruption (JW Projects, Singapore,2023), A Messenger - Passerby in Our Battlefields (Goethe Insitut Hongkong, 2023), You’d Better Turn Down the Volume (PTT Space Taipei, 2021-2022), The Days Before The Silent Spring (WMA Space Hong Kong, 2020-2021), Give no words but Mum (Tomorrow Maybe, 2020), Down into the Abyss (bonacon Gallery, 2018), etc. 

She received the WMA Commission Grant on the theme of Opportunity in Hong Kong and she was the Gold Award recipient of the Media Art Category of the 26th ifva Award, Hong Kong in 2021. Her artworks were presented in San Francisco, Paris, Berlin, London, Naha, Dresden, Basel, Johannesburg, Yogyakarta, Beijing, Shanghai and Taiwan. 

生於香港,獲中文大學文學士及藝術碩士,現為香港城市大學創意媒體學院博士候選人。她是一位「退役」旅遊記者,現專注於大自然生態相關藝術創作。主要研究課題跟食物、農耕、醞釀、監視、冥想等相關。作品以流動影像、攝影、裝置及混合媒介為主。作品獲希克藏品及美國三藩市亞洲藝術博物館收藏。

麗麗曾於三藩市、巴黎、柏林、倫敦、那霸、德勒斯登、巴塞爾、約翰尼斯堡、日惹、北京、上海、台灣等地展示其作品。

她為香港 WMA 委託計劃「機遇」得主,並曾獲第二十六屆 ifva 獨立短片及影像媒體比賽媒體藝術組金獎。個展包括《青喉:悠長的斷裂》(JW Projects, 新加坡,2023)、《飛行備忘》(香港歌德學院,2023)、《最好把音量收細》(台北 PTT Space,2021-2022)、《寂靜春天來臨前》(香港 WMA Space,2020-2021)、《保持緘默》(香港 Tomorrow Maybe,2020)、《欲壑難填》(廣州本來畫廊,2018)等。
